INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk (not skim)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon unsalted butter


DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan over medium heat, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Whisk in milk, stirring constantly
until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and butter. Cool 5 minutes before using.
